Attachments are stored in a shared network folder or in Legrand CRM Database (a SQL database). To control where you want to store data, go to the administration panel in Legrand CRM. Click Data > Attachment Storage and select one of the data storage options.
Store Attachments in Shared Folder
When storing the attachments in a shared network folder your SQL database will be much smaller. However, you need to remember to backup both the shared network folder and the Legrand CRM database (SQL database).
Store Attachments in Database
The benefit of storing attachments in the database is that the database backup then contains all data, including file attachments.
