How to import QuickBooks Customers and Suppliers into Legrand CRM

Go to the administration settings and select Accounting > Import Accounts.

Use the filter to show Customers or Suppliers. Click the checkbox to select or deselect records and click ‘NEXT’. You can also click the checkbox to import QuickBooks ‘Jobs’.

NOTE: Customers and Suppliers are separate. You will need to import Customers and then repeat the process for Suppliers.

Click ‘NEXT’ to confirm.

Importing QuickBooks Jobs

NOTE: In QuickBooks, a ‘Job’ has two meanings. A Job is a project such as a kitchen renovation, garage extension or paint job you do for a customer. A Job can also refer to a site location where you perform work for a client.

A QuickBooks Job, such as a kitchen renovation, is not something you would transfer into Legrand CRM as a Company record.

A company can have multiple site locations where you perform work. From a CRM point of view, you would want to keep track of people, activities and sales from every job (client location). Therefore, we recommend importing QuickBooks Jobs that are site locations and linking them to the parent company.
